Biddeford Pool, Maine
The small waterfront neighborhood of Biddeford Pool is situated near the twin communities of Biddeford/Saco. It is Maine's oldest town and has Hills Beach to the north, and East Point.
The exclusive Biddeford Pool community is a minute's walk to the secluded little beach where you can sit and read a book, splash and swim in the water or view spectacular sunsets. In the quaint village you will find a grocery store (with lobster pound), gift shop and post office and it is a five-minute walk to the lovely 2 1/2 mile white sandy beach where you will enjoy long afternoons in the sun. This community beach is perfect for long walks, swimming and surfing; children love to lounge and splash in the tide pools.
If you are looking for family friendly activities- visit nearby Saco Museum for its decorative arts and historic artifacts, take a walking tour of Saco’s historic Main Street or enjoy a show or a concert at the historic City Theater in Biddeford.
